Madex Thirteen was formed in late 2001 from the ashes of a band call Mad Existence in San Antonio, TX. After the group disbanded
in 2000 singer James Magallanez and bass player George Ransom decided they weren't done with rock and roll and began writing
new music with James' brother Daniel Magallanez on drums, thus forming Madex Thirteen. After a few line up changes at lead
guitar the band finally found what they were looking for in Andrew Salazar who has been a fixture in the San Antonio scene for
many years. Now with a solid line up Madex Thirteen has quickly become a stand out in the regional south Texas scene.
With roots in punk rock, metal, southern rock, and hardcore, Madex's brand of punk rock and roll has been compared to that of
Thrice, Pulley, Foo Fighters and Lagwagon. Through their high energy shows and various releases Madex Thirteen has managed to earn
themselves many loyal fans and a steady stream of shows in and around the southern United States. Madex Thirteen is currently
writing and practicing new materinal for a new EP to be release in late summer of 09'. Madex hopes to continue spreading their
brand of rock and roll in hopes of breaking into larger markets and reaching anyone who is willing to listen.
