Memory of a Melody is a collection of adjectives, a collection of personalities, a collection of influences. It’s Kevin Rhoden, JoshValenta, Mario Galdos, and Leo Garcia. It’s a means of expression, an outlet to others, an inlet to others, a reason to come together, it’s our version of the invisibly dominant force that is music. Its tales of heartbreak, love, a reason to unite, stories of experiences, a means of positivity in a time and place when its easy to be negative.

Memory of a Melody formed in April 2008. Leo and Mario had been in bands but never found the element needed to take it to the next level. They found Josh and the cornerstones were in place. The three of them began to write, and realized they needed an extra piece of creativity. Kevin came on and the course was aligned.

September 6, 2008 marked the first show in San Antonio, TX. This started a chain of events that led to shows throughout the region, and a spot on the main stage of Oyster Bake in San Antonio as the winner of the KISS/Miller Light Battle of the Bands in April 2009.

The band is currently recording the debut album, entitled “Pulse”, which will be released in the summer. Come hang out with us at the shows, we love meeting everyone, whether you are a fan or not. Add us, we will respond to your comments and messages. Enjoy the music, enjoy the shows, enjoy life.
